Hopkinton - Asland combined swim team?
I noticed this morning in the Metrowest newspaper that Swimming Results for Hopkinton-Ashland were posted. If Ashland joined up with Hopkinton, this is news to me. Some of you may recall that last year we tried to work with the Ashland Swim parents group to encourage them to consider joining with Holliston. I will see if I can find any more information.

Jim Carboneau, HHS AD, told me that Hopkinton and Ashland applied for a one year waiver from the Dual County League for a combined team to allow Ashland to swim.
There is an article in today's MetroWest News (12/22) about the merger. It sounds as if it is only for the year and that Ashland hopes to have enough swimmers to have their own team next year.
