Junior Diver Matt Flynn and Freshman swimmer Bobby Beauchemin represented the Holliston High School Swimming and Diving team at today’s MIAA Boys’ Central and South Sectional Swimming and Diving Championships held at MITs pool.
Matt Flynn is this year’s Sectional Champion, setting a HHS 11 dive school record with a score of 443 points, beating a field of 21 divers who qualified for this post season event.
Bobby Beauchemin qualified for the State championship meet in the 500 yard freestyle, with a personal best of 5:17.42. Bobby also just missed qualifying for the 100 yard backstroke by 0.68 seconds with a time of 1:03.68.
Both Matt and Bobby will represent HHS Swimming and Diving at next Saturday’s State Championships at Harvard University.

Sunday, the HHS girls will be represented at the Girl’s Sectional Meet by Seniors Molly Curry, Anna Montain, and Katie Oertel, Junior’s Julie Beauchemin and Stephanie Ydoate, and freshmen Rachel Dinehart and Christina Belforti.
