The Holliston Swimming and Diving team completed it’s 2008-2009 season Saturday at the Boy’s Division II State Championships at Harvard University’s Blodgett Pool. Coach Brian Porter’s Holliston team finished in 25th out of 35 teams, with 12 points
The team was represented at states by Junior Matt Flynn, who competed in the 1 Meter Diving Event, and Freshman Bobby Beauchemin, who swam the 500 yard Freestyle.
Matt came in an impressive 3rd place to a very deep field of divers, scoring a new HHS School record of 450.85 for 11 dives.
Bobby also swam a very strong race, taking 2nd place in his heat and 18th overall. Bobby improved on his season’s best time by 1 second with a 5:16.50.
